Azores Group was founded in 2026 with a single, clear mandate: to build businesses that serve real communities with honesty, quality, and speed. Based in the North East of England, the group set out to fill gaps where large corporations had overlooked local needs.

Angadi on Wheels is one of those entities. It is the most direct expression of what Azores Group believes a business should be: close to the people, priced fairly, and delivered reliably.

"Angadi" (ಅಂಗಡಿ) means "shop" — the kind of neighbourhood store that knows your name, stocks what you need, and never lets you down. The Azores team asked: what if that corner store came to you?

The answer was Angadi on Wheels. A mobile-first, delivery-led grocery operation that combines the familiarity of a local shop with the speed and reliability of modern logistics.

We stock three product types — packed vegetables, loose produce sold by weight or unit, and a full range of grocery and household staples — because a complete shop should never need two stops.

We partnered with DPD Local and Royal Mail for broad geographic coverage across the North East, while keeping our own Azores Internal Transportation Fleet for our fastest same-day runs.

The 10 AM rule is our signature. Order before the morning cutoff and your groceries arrive the same day. It's not a tagline — it's an operational commitment backed by our own drivers and vans.
